In 2018, she made waves during her brief stint on the casting phase of the program “The Voice Portugal” where, although not selected, she had the opportunity to showcase an original song. It is this song - “Antes Dela Dizer Que Sim” - that she released in 2019 as her debut single.

Even before the release of her first album, she won the Globo de Ouro for Best Performer. Her debut album, "Bárbara," was released on October 22, 2021, and her debut at the Lisbon and Porto Coliseums took place in November, with four sold-out concerts.

Mariza*
November 27

A prominent figure in our music, Mariza is the heir to the soul of the Portuguese people. In her voice, Fado transcended borders, rose to world heritage status, made the world its stage, and captivated the most demanding audiences.

Mariza transcends her own name; she is the latent memory of emotions, an ambassador in her own right for a country that long ago became too small for her talent, and continues to admire her, applauding her with every note, every song, and every concert.

In 2023, Mariza presents her new album, a celebration of a career spanning over two decades, with a nod to her future.

D.A.M.A*
December 4

Francisco M. Pereira (Kasha), Miguel Coimbra, and Miguel Cristovinho form the core of D.A.M.A., a band hailing from Lisbon known for their catchy songs, audience rapport, and high-energy live performances. They celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2022.

They quickly achieved platinum status with their debut album, "Uma Questão de Princípio" (2014). Furthermore, this album topped the National Sales Chart for 22 weeks and produced iconic singles such as “Luísa”, along with the aforementioned “Balada do Desajeitado” and “Às Vezes”.

Diogo Piçarra - "Vem Cantar Comigo" Special guests Anjos*
December 11

Titled “Vem Cantar Comigo” (Come Sing with Me), this tour marks the first time Diogo Piçarra will perform solo on stage, with a special guest at each concert in Lisbon and Porto.

Diogo Piçarra will challenge someone from the region to sing with him on stage. This challenge will be issued through the artist's social media, where interested individuals will be invited to submit a video to participate in the selection process.

“Vem Cantar Comigo” will therefore be an opportunity for duets. On stage, performing solo, Diogo Piçarra will explore instruments and styles we've never seen him tackle live, accompanied by a surprising set design.

In the lineup of these concerts, in addition to the hits that have defined the artist's career, “Vem Dançar Comigo”, his new single, will certainly not be missing—an inspiring song with an enveloping melody and intense interpretation, one of the singer-songwriter-producer's great attributes.

* Note: Please be advised that table reservations at Arena Lounge are already sold out for this concert. However, you can dine in one of Casino Lisboa's other restaurants and watch this show completely free of charge.

Nenny
December 18

Marlene Tavares, better known as NENNY, is a young international artist of Cape Verdean descent who grew up in a musical environment rich in African rhythms.

In 2019, she released her debut single, “Sushi” and quickly rose to fame, performing at the MEO Sudoeste festival just three months later, opening for the Wet Bed Gang. Only two months after that, she released her second single, “Bússola” which propelled her into the Portuguese hip-hop music scene, garnering millions of views on various digital platforms.

In 2022, she was nominated for the MTV European Music Awards in the Best Portuguese Act category and was named one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 entertainment personalities.

Gospel Collective
December 25

This Christmas, through song we will revisit some of the best-known black spirituals, remembering the diaspora and the hope held in faith. We will also sing some of the most well-known songs of this season.

The Gospel Collective, currently made up of around 70 voices, led by conductor Anastácia Carvalho and Manuela Oliveira, is based in Lisbon and brings together professional and amateur singers from across the Portuguese-speaking world. The experienced group has been active for about 11 years, led by members with 25 years of involvement in gospel music. The repertoire initially drew from African American gospel, black spirituals, and new/urban gospel, but today, the collective also performs Afro gospel with songs in English, Portuguese and Swahili.

Xutos & Pontapés | New Year's Eve
December 31, time to be announced

More than four decades after their inception, Xutos & Pontapés are the emblem of what rock & roll means in Portuguese, by Portuguese, for Portuguese. They have a collection of classics that would make many bands gnaw themselves with envy. True "stage animals" who live for the party of the concerts that cement their indestructible bond with an audience that's always there for the call, arms folded in X to celebrate the greatest longevity of a rock career in this little corner by the sea. Two guitars opening, drums pumping, the bass setting the pulse, 1-2-3-4, three basic chords and the horse running wild.
