The play revolves around these mere chances of adultery generated by misunderstandings and many confusions.

Palmira, our central character, manages to turn the lives of three couples upside down and establish doubt among all! "Cheating and Scratching is Just the Beginning" is a typical comedy of manners whose purpose is to make people laugh at situations in which any one of us could find ourselves involved.

The plot begins in the daily life of a middle-class couple on the eve of their 16th wedding anniversary. She receives a box of chocolates from an anonymous man. He is suspicious of a meeting arranged in his own home by his wife and her best friend. The dice are cast, by the hand of our funny Palmira.
