GOSPEL COLLECTIVE
December 25th

Source of strength, strength of our lives, gospel music at Christmas 2025.
The Gospel Collective lifts its eyes to the heavens and raises its hands and sings at the top of its lungs songs of hope in times of pain, songs of gratitude to remember that tears may come in the night but joy comes in the morning. Christmas, symbol of birth, new and abundant life full of Light, Peace, Joy, Hope and Communion deserves all our dedication. We chose to cultivate joy this Christmas 2025.
A different and bold Christmas concert in joy in which the multiplicity of cultures and sounds are celebrated and part of the DNA of the Gospel Collective, a choir with more than 50 voices whose members are of different nationalities and descendants resulting in a musicality of different timbres, strong messages, which exude mixed-race culture, African culture and also Portuguese-speaking culture, although inspired by the North American songbook.
There will be no shortage of dancing, no shortage of applause, no shortage of joy but also no shortage of introspection, solemn and informal communion, tears even, perhaps hugs, but certainly wide smiles and the promise of a warm Christmas night.
Joyful, Joyful we adore Thee!
