SEX AND AGE
SEX AND AGE
A comedy about men, egos, and secrets at the table.

VASCO IS CELEBRATING HIS BIRTHDAY. OR BETTER YET: TRYING TO SURVIVE IT.
A failed writer, broke, and recently dumped by the wife he still hasn’t forgotten, decides to gather his old friends for a night that, in theory, should have been a celebration… but quickly turns into a minefield of egos, grudges, and well-told lies.
Rui, the soap opera heartthrob Vasco resents (for having an affair with his ex-wife); Miguel, a psychologist and self-help coach who, more than anyone, needs therapy; and Duarte, an out-of-work lawyer full of theories — all show up bragging about success, achievements, and confidence. Except… none of it is quite true.
Around the table, between drinks and vanity, the main topic is… women. The exes, the current ones, the imagined, and the impossible. With humor, exaggeration, and a generous dose of ignorance, these four friends try to decode what they’ve never understood. If only women knew what’s said when men are alone…
Sex and Age is a comedy diving into the male universe with sarcasm, tenderness, and a good dose of stupidity. A comic — and sometimes unsettling — portrait of friendship, masculinity, desires, and the eternal attempt to look good… even when everything is going wrong.
